LIVING HISTORY @ CSG-4 They had to "Fight for the right, to Fight"
On Thursday, 10 May 2018, a presentation of the history and legacy of two African American men who served in World War II was conducted for these men to tell their of their experiences during and after WWII, one a Montford Point Marine, the other a Tuskegee Airmen. The presentation was coordinated by Security Manager of Carrier Strike Group (CSG)-4 Mr. Curt Clark for the staff audience of CSG-4 in Washington DC. Clark wanted to bring the staff together to educate/remind them of the pioneering spirit of these gentlemen that created social change within the United States. This was a priceless meeting of these two WWII heroes in Marine Ambassador Theodore Britton and Airmen Dr. Harry Quinton.
